LIQUIFIED NATURAL GAS
LNG has been safely manufactured and transported since the mid 1960s.
Our focus is on delivering LNG from mobile liquefaction facilities and other LNG plants across the country, to endpoints that may not be reachable by traditional means.
Our clients can specify the purity of the LNG from high grade to pipeline quality – depending on their unique needs.
NATURAL GAS LIQUIDS
NGLs are a byproduct of natural gas wells, and can be separated into multiple products for various uses.
VP Ventures can market your variable composition product to fractionation facilities and consumers.
Hydrocarbons such as ethane, propane, butane, pentane, and hexane are gathered and delivered for use.

JAKE FIELD
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Jake has 20 years experience in energy trading, risk, and asset management. He is a co-founder of Spotlight Energy, a wholesale natural gas marketing company, Spotlight Power, an energy management and power trading company, and Virtual Pipeline Ventures, a wholesale energy marketing company focused on the transportation and storage of liquified natural gas (LNG) and natural gas liquids (NGL). He is also a partner and board member for Field Industries and OneLNG. Jake graduated with his undergraduate and graduate degrees in business from the University of Florida.
BRIAN FOWKES
CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER
Brian joins VP Ventures with 28 years in the energy and service sector working for large oilfield service companies, energy information and natural gas distribution & service providers starting as a young engineer in the oilfield with increasing levels of responsibility in engineering, operations, business development and management. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum & Natural Gas Engineering with a focus in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration (SME), the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
JOHN BLOMEKE
MANAGING DIRECTOR | FUEL LOGISTICS
John Blomeke is Managing Director for Fuel Logistics. John joins VP Ventures with 18 years of engineering, operations and commercial experience. A former Nuclear Submarine Officer in the U.S. Navy, John subsequently spent 8 years in supply chain management as a leader in Apple’s Global Procurement Organization supporting contract manufacturing and most recently the capital equipment supply chain for Apple’s Mechanical Enclosures (Manufacturing Design Team). John was also the CoFounder and CEO of CarMommy, a Rideshare Rental and Retail Operation in California from 2019-2023. John is a native of Virginia Beach, VA and holds a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
